San Carlos de Bariloche – Catedral Alta Patagonia Ski Resort – www.catedralaltapatagonia.com
Located in the south extreme of Nahuel Huapi’s lake, San Carlos de Bariloche stands up as the biggest city in the area. A really intense city that gives life to the Cerro Catedral Alta Patagonia, a traditional ski village in the base of the biggest ski resort in Argentina. Guided by Lucas, a local that works at Tahoe during summer, we will access the sickest terrain around this huge mountain. We can arrange split board/snowshoes expeditions to one or all of the 3 huts hidden in the mountains.
Villa La Angostura – Cerro Bayo Ski Resort – www.cerrobayoweb.com
Driving 50 miles north along the nahuel huapi coast line your will experience one of the most beautiful scenery. At this small village, which is our hometown, you will find friendly environment and experience one of the best skiing and riding in Patagonia. As our home, we will take you to every secret spot we know. Split board and snow shoes will help us to get to two nearby peaks, just a couple of hours walk.
Chile – Antillanca Resort. www.skiantillanca.cl
Crossing west the Argentinean border with Chile, we get to Antillanca, a small ski resort that lies at the base of the Casablanca Volcano. Snow cat expeditions to de volcano can be arranged. We will come back to Villa la Angostura to get ready for our next destination.
San Martin de los Andes – Chapelco Ski Resort – www.cerrochapelco.com
A huge mountain with lots of off-piste options. Split boards and snowshoes will take us to some of the best spots, guided by El Conejo (the rabbit) a local guide and friend.
Caviahue Ski Resort – www.caviahue.com
Caviahue is a little ski town that lies at the base of the Copahue Volcano (3000mts). Surrounded by 1500-year-old Araucarias (a native type of pine) wherever you look here, you will want to go and hit it. Snowmobile and snow cat expeditions will help us to get everywhere we want to go.
Las Leñas Ski Resort – www.laslenas.com
If you haven’ t heard about it, you will remember it for the rest of your life. Las Leñas is Argentinean Backcountry heaven. With more than 14.000 acres of skiable terrain, snow-cat access and a helicopter, this is the place we want to be.
We think that we will have enough powder along our way. We can also include some more ski areas in Chile and more heli-skiing expeditions. Everything depends on what you need.
